Led end-to-end development of a decoupled Drupal architecture powered by React and Acquia Site Studio, delivering performant, maintainable, and analytics-ready digital components for enterprise use. Drove both frontend innovation and backend integration to enhance platform scalability and business insight visibility.

Development was done in a multi-site architecture based on a CORE profile (i.e. Centralized Core repository with separately hosted country sites). The project was delivered in two phases. ZA, NL and RO in phase 1 and US, SCI Corporate and SCUK in phase 2.
  • Migration from Kentico CMS (NL, RO and ZA) to Drupal.
  • Migration from Adobe AEM (US, Corporate and UK) to Drupal.
  • Integrated/Implemented Content Workflows, Payment Gateways (PayFast, Euplatesc, PayPal, Apple Pay), Webforms (for Donations, Events, Data, etc.), Search Implementation using Apache Solr, GA and GTM for Analytics.
  • Implemented Content Hub (within the media library) using Orange Logic for digital asset management.
  • Implemented Image Focal Point, which lets you change the center point of an image so Cloudflare can scale and crop images based on it.
  • Migrated AEM Experience Fragment into Drupal.
  • Integrated Luminate for Survey Forms.
  • Integrated Form Engine Microservice with Drupal. Form Engine collects form data submitted from Drupal CMS forms via POST API and sends the data to CARE/ACM, where it is also stored in a third-party Postgres database.
  • Implemented SSO based on Azure AD.
  • Implemented Adobe Analytics for Tracking.

Technical LeadLEGO POC

The LEGO Group is a Denmark-based company with a global presence. LEGO is a popular brand among children, and its theme-based toys are loved by kids across age groups worldwide. Problem statement: LEGO conducts holistic portfolio research with parent-child pairs to understand preferences and make better decisions about future themes. The existing process relied on PDFs and significant manual intervention, with coordinators collecting responses on paper. They needed a sophisticated, modernized system to run this research digitally and capture useful data for decision-making. Scope of work: develop and present a POC application that demonstrates the optimal way to conduct this research using digital platforms and technological aids. At the POC stage, the scope included building a platform with basic capabilities for LEGO owners to create and manage surveys, for respondents to participate in surveys, and for decision-makers to view meaningful insights from survey data.

Frontend LeadUNDP Design System

UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and exclusion, and build resilience so countries can sustain progress. As the UN's development agency, UNDP plays a critical role in helping countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The project involved building a Design System (https://design.undp.org/) using Storybook with ReactJs which helped build the Unified UI components used in Drupal and other Platform agnostic applications for UNDP.
